Kediri Residents Died Handed By Brother Kandung, Police Intervene
KEDIRI - Kediri City Police, East Java investigated D's death, which occurred in Balowerti Village, Kediri City District on Saturday night, allegedly committed by his own brother.
Head of the Kediri City Police Investigation and Criminal Unit, Iptu M Fathur Rozikin, said that his party had conducted a crime scene (TKP) investigation in Balowuti Village, Kota District, Kediri. TKP investigations were carried out to determine the chronology of the incident.
"The victim with the initials D died with injuries to the head due to blunt objects," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 29.
He said the case occurred on Saturday (28/9) at night almost early in the morning. Members go directly to the scene of the incident as soon as they receive a report.
Members then checked the location and took him to the hospital for examination. At the scene of the incident, officers did not find sharp objects but there were ceramic shards that were suspected of being carried out to persecute the victim until the person concerned died.
"The results of the crime scene showed that ceramic shards were suspected of molesting to death. There were no sharp weapon wounds, none of which were suffered due to blunt objects on the head," he said.
The perpetrator, he said, was still being searched. He was reported to have fled shortly after the incident.
"While still searching," he said.
From the information obtained, the victim with the initials D and the perpetrator with the initials E. Both of them are still brothers and sisters. They had previously had a drinking party, but at that time there was an argument whose problems were unknown so that the incident occurred.
The police have also sterilized the scene by installing a police line. Unauthorized people are prohibited from entering.

The body was treated first by medical officers at the Bhayangkara Hospital in Kediri, for further examination. The family is also waiting for the body to be allowed to be taken home and buried immediately.
