Keeping Asa From Qualifying For The 2026 World Cup, STY Doesn't Want The Indonesian National Team To Lose Points Against Bahrain And China
JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, emphasized that he did not want his team to lose points during the 2026 World Cup Qualification continued match.
The Indonesian national team will undergo a continued match of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in October. In that agenda, two matches will be played, namely against Bahrain on October 10 and continued against China on October 15.
Looking at the matches held at Bahrain National Stadium and at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium. Shin Tae-yong said his team would try to achieve maximum results in order to advance to the fourth round to keep qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
"The goal is to win (points) from Bahrain and China. If we pursue these two teams, we can easily enter the top 3 or 4," Shin Tae-yong said as quoted by the Isplus.com page on Sunday, September 29.
Meanwhile, PSSI General Chair (Ketum) Erick Thohir also said the Indonesian national team had to fight and work hard to win points in those two difficult matches.
