Reflecting On NTB, Jokowi Watches Pertamina Indonesia's MotoGP 2024
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left for West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Sunday 29 September in order to witness the 2024 Pertamina GP Indonesia MotoGP event.
"President Jokowi is scheduled to witness the 2024 Pertamina Grand Prix of (GP) Indonesia MotoGP world championship live," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a written statement received in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA.
The Indonesian-1 presidential plane carrying Jokowi and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 10.15 WIB.
Arriving at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Central Lombok Regency, Jokowi headed to Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK), Central Lombok Regency.
After that, said Yusuf, President Jokowi and his entourage will return to Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Central Lombok Regency, to return to Jakarta.
Also accompanying President Jokowi on the flight to NTB Province were Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Achiruddin, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana.

MotoGP is an international motorcycle racing event attended by famous racers from various countries. This year, the 2024 Mandalika MotoGP will be held at the Mandalika International Pertamina Circuit on 27-29 September.
In addition, 2024 is also the third edition year for the Mandalika Circuit to host the prestigious race.
