1,000 Lebanese Killed By Israel In 12 Days

More than 1,000 people have died and 6,300 have been injured in Lebanon as a result of Israeli airstrikes over the past 12 days.

"A total of 1,030 people, including 56 women and 87 children, were killed in the period 16-27 September 2024," said Lebanese interim Health Minister Firas Abiad on Saturday, September 28.

Meanwhile, the number of victims injured by the brutality of the Zionist regime during that period was 6,352 people, according to the data. "In addition, 41 health workers died," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 29.

Meanwhile, the number of people killed in Friday's attack (27/9/2024) resulted in the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Hezbollah on Saturday announced the death of the group's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah as a result of what they called a cunning zionist attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Hezbollah, in a statement, stated that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had joined his great and eternal colleagues to be martyred on the road to Jerusalem and Palestine.

United States (US) President Joe Biden declared the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by Israel in Beirut an act of justice. Biden also reaffirmed US support for Israel in dealing with Hezbollah.
