Hezbollah Confirms Hassan Nasrallah's Death As A Result Of Zionist Attacks

Hezbollah on Saturday announced the death of the group's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah as a result of what they refer to as a "thief Zionist attack" on Beirut's southern suburbs.

Hezbollah, in a statement, said "Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, has joined his great and eternal colleagues who were martyred, whose path he led for about thirty years, martyred on the road to Jerusalem and Palestine."

The statement stressed Nasrallah's decades-long leadership in the fight against Israel, noting that his dedication to the Palestinian liberation struggle determines his life and is now his "martiary."

Nasrallah, who has been Secretary General of Hezbollah since 1992, played a key role in the Lebanese resistance movement, particularly in fighting Israeli forces.

His death marks an important moment in the ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel.

Nasrallah's death, Hezbollah reiterated the group's commitment to their Secretary-General's mission, and said; "His smartness will only strengthen the determination of the fight to continue the fight against Zionist enemies and free Palestine."

Earlier, the Israeli military claimed to have 'terminated' Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasollah during an operation targeting Hezbollah's command center located under a residential building on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Since Monday, Israeli troops have launched an attack "with the most intense and widespread reach" into Lebanon since confrontation with Hezbollah began about a year ago.

In response, Hezbollah has fired hundreds of rockets at Israeli military sites, settlements, and even Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, with strict information closing on casualties and damage on the part of Israel, according to observers.

Hezbollah and Israel have been involved in cross-border wars since the start of an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip, which has killed nearly 41,600 victims, mostly women and children, following cross-border attacks by Hamas on 7 October.

The international community has warned of attacks on Lebanon sparking fears that Gaza's conflict could turn into a regional war.
