Sirine Sounded In North Israel, 5 Rockets Launched From Lebanon

JAKARTA - Israel detected five rocket projectiles fired from Lebanon. This Hezbollah attack triggered sirens in most parts of the northern region.

"After the sirens that rang some time ago in a number of areas in northern Israel and the areas of Wadi Ara, Samaria and Menashe, five projectiles were identified across Lebanese territory," the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said as reported by CNN, Saturday, September 28.

Israel claims the Hezbollah attack was mostly intercepted.

The sirens are activated in more than 100 communities, based on the military's Home Front Command warning app count.

The attack follows a series of 10 projectiles detected from the Lebanese border side.

Hezbollah said it had previously fired rockets at northern Israel in response to Israeli attacks on Lebanese cities and villages.
