Contract Extended, Pertamina's Name Will Be Attached To The Mandalika Circuit Until 2026
JAKARTA - The Pertamina brand will still be attached to being the main sponsor of the name of the Mandalika Circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, until 2026.
"Indeed, the contract will expire in December 2024. But God willing, it will be extended by 2025-2026," said Mandalika MotoGP Chairman Troy Reza War quoting Antara.
Troy said that apart from being under contract with ITDC, Pertamina is also under contract with Dorna Sport in MotoGP.
"Hopefully this will continue and we think Pertamina for Indonesia should never be doubted," he said.
According to him, with the extension of this contract, Pertamina's name remains the name Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
"This means that the naming of the Mandalika Circuit brings the pride of local brands on the world stage. In fact, it can be said that this year is different, the Pertamina brand is quite dominant at the Mandalika Circuit," explained Troy Waroka.
It is known that the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit is a racing circuit located in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Central Lombok. This circuit with a track length of 4.31 kilometers and 17 corners has a class A homologation class from the FIM.
