The Case Of Santri's Death Thrown By Wood By Ustaz At Blitar Islamic Boarding School Was Investigated By The Police

BLITAR - Blitar City Police, East Java, handled the death case of a student of a boarding school in the Blitar Regency area, which was allegedly carried out by Ustaz.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Blitar City Police, Iptu Samsul Anwar, said the victim had the initials KAF (13), a student at a boarding school in Blitar Regency.

The case occurred when Ustaz threw wood with nails that hit the victim's head.

"The throwing of wood against the students was carried out by the ustaz, the Koran teacher at one of the huts in Ponggok District. We have followed up on the incident," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 27.

Iptu Samsul explained the chronology of the incident after the dawn prayer, usually sports students such as playing badminton, volleyball.

Meanwhile, other students were ready to take a shower, but there was one of the students who did not immediately end the game.

Ustaz, who knew about this, then threw wood at the recalcitrant santri. At the same time the victim passed and hit the victim.

"The Ustaz took wood and was thrown into the santri. Coincidentally, the victim passed and hit the head. The back of the wood had nails. When the nails were removed, the victim was unconscious," he said.

The victim was also immediately taken to a hospital in Blitar Regency to get help, but because of his serious injuries, he was finally referred to the Kediri Regency Hospital (RSKK).

"At the RSKK, the operation did not dare because the head was bleeding. Even if the operation was very small, it would be successful. The hospital did not dare to take the risk of surgery," he said.

The police have asked for information from a number of parties, including the students, the ustaz concerned, the caretaker of the Islamic boarding school, and asked for information on the results of the victim's health examination from the hospital.

However, for the victim's family, until now there have been no reports of complaints submitted.

He explained that so far the teenager lived with his grandmother, while his parents worked abroad.

"We have tried to call the victim's family. So far, the victim is only with her grandmother, parents abroad. Members have tried to call but have not been present from the invitation sent," he said.

Until now, the police have not been able to process the case further and are still waiting for news from the victim's family.
