Broken Wheel Asc, Tanjung Priok Port Truck Driver Killed By The Container He Was Transported

JAKARTA - A truck carrying goods was hit by a container in the Tanjung Priok Port area, North Jakarta. One person, namely a truck driver with the initials AS (32) was reported to have died as a result of the incident.

Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 26, evening.

"After checking the crime scene, it is known that the incident did occur on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at around ten pm," said Panjiyoga when confirmed, Friday, September 27.

Based on the testimony of witnesses, Panjiyoga explained that the incident began when the truck driver turned around but did not match his place.

"From the results of the testimony of witnesses at the crime scene (the crime scene), the driver is known to have turned around but not according to his place," he said.

Because the narrow turn direction caused the truck's wheeled ass to break. Then, the cargo of the container that was transported by the truck fell.

"The loading of the container hit the front of the truck," he said.
