Two Thieves From Manggarai Attacked By Residents After Entering An Empty House In Duren Sawit

Two perpetrators of the robbery were beaten by residents because they were caught breaking into the theory of the house left by their occupants in Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Friday, September 27.

Residents confiscated a number of evidences used by the perpetrators to steal in the form of large knives and cutting counters.

"There was news from the residents that they were told to me, he said someone came in. There was already one person, it turned out that two people, we finally arrested both of them," said local security officer Maman.

The faces of the two perpetrators were battered after being beaten by residents because they were annoyed by the actions of the two perpetrators. Residents were also upset because their territory was targeted by the perpetrators of the theft.

According to Maman, this incident started when residents reported to the RW post that someone had entered an empty house.

When checked by local security officers and residents, they would be surprised when they found one suspected perpetrator who had broken into the theory of the house that was left by the occupants.

Finally, the two perpetrators were caught and arrested by residents.

"Evidence already exists. Bring a gun and knife. The perpetrator is a resident of Manggarai, South Jakarta," he said.

For further processing, the two perpetrators were immediately taken to the Duren Sawit Police. The two perpetrators admitted that they had committed theft several times.
