The Number Of Police Members Involved In Bekasi River Incidents Increases To 17 People

JAKARTA - A total of 17 members of the Police from the Bekasi City Metro Police, Rawa Lumbu Police and Jatiasih Police were questioned by the Propam Bid Polda Metro Jaya regarding the deaths of 7 teenagers in Kali Bekasi, Bekasi City, a few days ago.

"17 members were examined. Some were members of the patrol and members of the Rawalumbu Police and Jatiasih Police," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary to VOI at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 26.

In addition to the 17 members of the National Police who were questioned, the Propam Bid Polda Metro Jaya also conducted an examination of other communities.

"There were 7 people who were arrested and rescued, as well as 3 suspects who carried sharp weapons who were investigated by the Bekasi Police. They were also investigated," he said.

Currently, Polda Metro Jaya is conducting inspections of 27 members of the National Police and civil society.

"So a total of 27 were taken information by the Propam Bid Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

Previously, it was reported that nine members of the Bekasi Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team were questioned in the Professional and Security Sector (Propam) regarding the deaths of 7 teenagers in Bekasi River, precisely near the Pondok Gede Permai housing complex, Jatiasih, Bekasi City.

"Until now, 9 members of the Bekasi City Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol have been examined," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, to reporters, Monday, September 23.

The examination was carried out at the attention of the Metro Jaya Police Chief to find out more about the death of seven teenagers in Kali Bekasi.
