In The Aftermath Of The Police Case Watered By Brawlers, Chemicals Sellers Get Warning

JAKARTA The case of pouring hard water on police officers when disbanding a brawl in West Jakarta has attracted the attention of many parties. West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto asked business actors not to easily sell hard water.

As is known, two members of the Polda Metro Jaya Pioneer Patrol Team were injured due to being doused with hard water when disbanding a brawl between groups of teenagers on Jalan Joglo Raya, Kembangan District, West Jakarta.

Uus warned sellers of chemicals including hard water to be more careful in selling these dangerous items. The reason is, it is very likely that the hard water purchased is misused.

"I appeal to business actors who sell hard water, they are asked not to sell it to just anyone," said Uus asserted.

The case of pouring hard water on police officers did not only happen in West Jakarta. Previously, a member of the Brimob Police Unit Yon B Cipinang also experienced the same incident.

"Members of Brimob Yon B Cipinang are still undergoing intensive treatment at the ER at the Kramatjati Police Hospital, East Jakarta," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Thursday, August 29.
