Jokowi Leaves Message To Residents, So Prabowo Continues Rice Social Assistance
PASER - President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) advised the people who received the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program in the form of 10 kilograms of rice per family to ask Prabowo Subianto, who will be the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024 2029, to continue the assistance program.
The President conveyed this to the public because he would retire from October 20, 2024, or to coincide with the inauguration of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Later, when we meet Pak Prabowo, he will convey it, sir, ask for further assistance, sir," said President Jokowi when handing over rice food assistance and inspecting the Bulog warehouse, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 26.
On the occasion of meeting the people, Jokowi informed that he retired as president on October 20.
Therefore, the President also apologized while leading if there were mistakes, mistakes, and shortcomings in making policies that had an impact on the people.
"On this auspicious occasion, I am an imperfect human being, full of shortcomings, full of ignorance, full of mistakes, I ask for the greatest forgiveness if there are mistakes, mistakes, shortcomings in me making policies for the people," said President Jokowi.
The President also invited the public to convey if there were complaints about rice distributed through the BPNT program in the form of 10 kilograms of rice for each beneficiary.
The Head of State also ensures that the recipients of the aid get the rice regularly every month since January 2024.
