Margaret Qualley Willing To Lies In Order To Join Adam Sandler's Film Sequel, Happy Gilmore

JAKARTA - Margaret Qualley joins Adam Sandler's latest film, Happy Gilmore 2. He revealed a little lie to join the comedy.

"I knew there would be Happy Gilmore 2 and I immediately sent an email to my agent and said 'Whatever happens, no small role. Please. I want to come, please, whatever happens,' Margaret Qualley said in Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Then, Jimmy Fallon showed a private message between Qualley's husband, musician Jack Antonoff and Adam Sandler. Sandler asked 'Is your wife playing golf?' Antonoff answered with 'Yes, he is very good.'

"Good husband, and I can't golf," said Margaret Qualley.

"He lied for the sake of his family. I've never played golf a day in my life, I'm so bad, actually," he said again.

Qualley admits he has taken classes to study golf, but he feels his skills are still bad. Golf is one of the things in the film.

"I've learned but overall it's still bad. My role is very small. I basically have a deep background, but I can die happily now," he said again.

Happy Gilmore 2 is a sequel to the first film released in 1996. His first film tells of an ice hockey player who raises money to stop confiscation of his grandmother's house by participating in a golf tournament.

The first film was released in 1996 and received commercial success. The sequel was announced this month along with its newly started production in New Jersey.

"It's not over yet. From what I saw, we're just starting," Adam Sandler wrote in his signature uniform photo.

Besides Qualley and Sandler, the film also stars Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald who return to sequels as well as several new names such as Travis Kelce, Bad Bunny, Benny Safdie and Lee Trevino.
