Finally Foreign Investors Enter IKN, Authority: Show Potential As A Future Economic Center

JAKARTA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) said that the entry of foreign private investment shows the confidence of global investors in the potential of the archipelago as the center of the future economy. The foreign private investors in question come from China.

"The construction of the Delonix Nusantara commercial complex shows the trust of global investors, namely from China to the potential of the archipelago as the center of the future economy," said Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication, Troy Pantouw, quoted from the official website of IKN, Thursday, September 26.

Delonix Nusantara is one of five groundbreakings inaugurated by Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in this 8th series of groundbreaking with an investment of IDR 500 billion.

At this groundbreaking, the total estimated value of incoming investment reached IDR 1,075 trillion, of which this value was obtained from a combined investment involving one pure foreign investor, two foreign partnerships, and two domestic investors.

For your information, the IKN Authority has inaugurated the groundbreaking for the construction of the Delonix Nusantara commercial complex as the first foreign private investment to enter IKN on Wednesday, September 25.

Investment from abroad, especially Delonix, shows confidence and proves confidence that Nusantara is a very interesting location in the investment sector.

On the same occasion, the signing of the Land Allocation Agreement for Asset Land Allocation in Control of the IKN Authority and the Treaty Notary Deed between the Archipelago Capital Authority (IKN) and PT Delonix Group Indonesia.

It is known, Delonix Nusantara will build a mix used complex on an area of 24,200 square meters which includes Model J Hotels, serviced apartments, shopping centers, offices, sports and fitness facilities and green open spaces.

Model J Hotel is planned to have 200 rooms equipped with various environmentally friendly facilities, reflecting harmony with Nusantara's focus on sustainability. Delonix Nusantara will not only become a destination, but also an ecosystem that combines innovation, excellence, and sustainability in the concept of integrated housing.

President of Delonix Group Indonesia Bill Lin stated that Delonix's presence at IKN reflects their confidence in the potential of the archipelago in positioning Indonesia as the leading country in the Asia Pacific region.
