Jokowi Says This Responds To 44 Ministries Formation Of The Prabowo Cabinet
PASER - President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) responded to the number of nomenclatures of the ministry formed by the elected president Prabowo Subianto, which reportedly reached 44 ministries and considered it the prerogative of the president.
"Asked to the elected president is a prerogative, why was it asked to me. Asked the elected president, that is the prerogative of the elected president. Because he has been given a mandate, given the mandate by the people," said President Jokowi after visiting the Bulog Warehouse of Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 26.
The President emphasized that the number of ministerial nomenclatures is the full authority of Prabowo Subianto as the elected president who has been given the mandate and mandate by the people.
Meanwhile, President-elect Prabowo Subianto is still conducting simulations of the number of ministerial nomenclatures in his upcoming cabinet.
"So this is what is called an addition, what is called separation, and others that we cannot publish because we are currently still simulating it," said the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, some time ago.
He conveyed this in response to the issue that the number of ministries in the upcoming Prabowo-Gibran government will be increased from 34 ministries to 44 ministries.
"There are those (ministerial) who say 44, some say 42, some say 40, we are also still doing simulations," said Dasco, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
He said that his party was likely to only complete the composition of the nomenclature of the ministry a week before the inauguration of the Elected President and Vice President Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka on October 20.

"Maybe the nomenclature or person will only be final h-7 or h-5 times," he said.
Dasco also said that the increase in the number of ministries was carried out to optimize the duties of the ministry in order to fulfill the Prabowo-Gibran campaign promise that was carried out in the eight Asta Cita missions he carried out.
