Central Java Police Responds To Video Of The Moment Of Appeal To Salaman Andika Perkasa Not Responding To By The Kapolda

The Central Java Regional Police opened their voices about the viral video clip of the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General of Ribut Hari Wibowo as if they were reluctant to shake hands with Cagub number 1 Central Java, General TNI (Ret.) Andika Perkasa.

Previously, the video narration that went viral on social media was mentioned by Ribut Hari and Acting Governor of Central Java Komjen Pol (Ret.) Nana Sudjana as if reluctant to welcome Andika during the Declaration of Peace Campaigns at the Central Java KPU Office Jalan Pahlawan Semarang on Tuesday, September 24.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Artanto, explained that the incident was actually unintentional, and had no bad intentions behind it.

According to Artanto, the video only shows one side of the incident and does not reflect the whole situation. The reason is that before the event started, the Central Java Forkopimda, including the regional police chief and the governor, were involved in friendly and friendly communication with two Central Java gubernatorial candidate pairs, namely Andika Perkasa-Hendar Prihadi and Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen.

Artanto said the viral video footage was a moment when Ribut Hari was about to leave the KPU office.

"At that time, the Police Chief was on his way to leaving the Central Java KPU office and had lowered his head to say goodbye. So, there was no intentional element of not shaking hands," Artanto explained in his statement, Wednesday, September 25.

Artanto added that a viral video showing the moment the Kapolda seemed reluctant to shake hands was probably deliberately cut and uploaded by certain parties who wanted to break the harmonious atmosphere ahead of the Central Java Pilkada.

"We suspect that there is a framing that was deliberately appointed to make the atmosphere worse and disturb the peace of the Pilkada," he said.

The same thing was conveyed by Kapendam IV Diponegoro Lt. Col. Infantry Andy Soelistyo who asked the public not to be easily provoked.

Andy even showed a complete video recording of the Military Commander IV Diponegoro Maj. Gen. Deddy Suryadi. The Military Commander was seen in front of the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo, and had lowered his head and smiled at Andika when the Forkopimda ranks would shift places.
