Jaehyun NCT Announces Military Mandatory November 4
JAKARTA - NCT's Jaehyun will undergo military service this year. This shocking news was first shared by his agency, SM Entertainment.
"Jaehyun NCT signed up for the military band and received a notification of acceptance from the Military Administration today," SM Entertainment said on Thursday, September 26.
"According to the schedule, he will start serving as an active army on November 4 to fulfill his military duties," they explained.
The agency also confirmed that no official events were held to take Jaehyun to the training center, so they asked fans not to visit the training center.

"We ask for support and love until the day Jaehyun completes his military service and returns in good condition, thank you," concluded the agency.
Prior to his military service, Jaehyun released an album and made his big-screen film debut this year. He promoted with NCT 127 for their latest album, Walk, which was released in mid-2024.
Then, he made his solo debut by launching his first solo album, J. He also debuted in the film You Will Die in 6 Hours and competed acting with Park Ju Hyun and Kwak Si Yang.
Jaehyun became NCT's second member to carry out military service after Taeyong last April.
