The 2025 State Budget Has Accommodated Prabowo's Elected Presidential Featured Program, Quick Win Capai Budget IDR 121 Trillion

SERANG - The government added a budget for the Quick Win program from the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government of Rp. 8 trillion to Rp. 121 trillion in the 2025 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

Meanwhile, the Quick Win program includes for a free nutritious food program of IDR 71 trillion, renovation of schools of IDR 20 trillion, construction of superior schools of IDR 2 trillion, and free health checks of IDR 3.2 trillion.

Then, the budget for the Rp8 trillion TB completion and treatment program, Rp15 trillion for national food barns, and an increase in hospital standards of Rp1.8 trillion.

Head of the BKF State Revenue and Expenditure Policy Center of the Ministry of Finance Wahyu Utomo explained that the Rp8 trillion budget would be used to eradicate Tuberculosis (TBC) infectious diseases. The program appeared in the Panja B Meeting, before the ratification of the 2025 State Budget Law which was carried out last week.

"Indeed, that is the latest development during the discussion at Panja B (DPR) at that time there was an aspiration to raise one of them for eradicating TB, the budget was Rp. 8 trillion," Wahyu said in the media gathering of the Ministry of Finance 2024, Wednesday, September 25.

Wahyu explained that previously in Panja A the program had not been included, so the previous quick win budget was totaled at IDR 113 trillion.

According to Wahyu, the additional budget will be taken from the Non-Ministerial/Institutional Expenditure (K/L) budget. However, he did not explain exactly whether from educational reserves, BA BUN, or other reserves.

In addition, Wahyu conveyed the existence of a non-K/L budget as a form of flexibility in the APBN. So there is the potential for widening spending.

"In fact, non-K/L spending which is quite large, we have discretion. If it is formed later, we can be flexible in allocating it. After all, it is in accordance with governance regulated in the APBN Law and transparent," he explained.

Meanwhile, in addition to being used for TB completion, the quick win budget will be used for free health checks given to 52.2 million people for blood pressure, blood sugar, X-ray photos for catatropic disease screening.

Then it is used for the construction of complete quality hospitals in the regions, namely by increasing type D hospitals to type C in the regions as well as infrastructure and medical equipment.

Furthermore, the waste is used for free nutritious food programs for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers and students at all levels of education.

Then, it is used for school renovations including renovation of classrooms, furniture, and MCK. Next for superior schools integrated by building superior school physicals in 4 locations.

Finally, national, regional, and village food barns that will be distributed for intensification of 80,000 hectares, and extensification or printing of 150,000 hectares of rice fields.
