Methamphetamine From Malaysia Brought In Jakarta Because Of High Selling Prices
JAKARTA Two people were arrested for possession of 35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (Kg) in the Tangerang City area. Two perpetrators are said to be part of the international network.
"In this week, two perpetrators of drug crimes from Malaysia's international network were arrested. The identities of the suspects MLS (26) and H (43)," said Director of Drugs at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak in his statement, Wednesday, September 25.
Donald explained that this case was revealed, starting with a public report related to allegations of narcotics trafficking.
The police conducted an investigation until they finally arrested a man with the initials MLS in the Karang Tengah area, Tangerang City, Sunday, September 22.
Then carried out the development, the arrest of another suspect with the initials H in the rest area of Km 57, the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
"From the two drug offenders, several pieces of evidence were secured, such as 35 kg of methamphetamine, 6,480 happy five pills, one motorbike, one pajero car, four cellphones," he said.

Based on the investigation, said Donald, they admitted that the illicit goods were obtained from dealers in Malaysia. These goods will be circulated in the Jakarta area due to the high selling price.
"The methamphetamine that was secured came from Malaysia, which was brought by sea and land. The plan was to be circulated to Jakarta on the grounds that the price of crystal methamphetamine was very expensive in Jakarta," he explained.
Currently, the two perpetrators and evidence have been secured. The police are still conducting a series of investigations, including hunting down dealers in Malaysian territory.
