SERANG - Deputy Minister of Finance II Thomas Djiwandono revealed the figure of Sri Mulyani Indrawati as the extraordinary Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. This was revealed during the media gathering of the Ministry of Finance.
Meanwhile, Sri Mulyani's tenure as Minister of Finance and with other Ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet will soon end on October 20, 2024.
Thomas explained that the figure of Sri Mulyani is a leader who is very open in the transition process to the next government. Even when he has not yet entered the Ministry of Finance has shown his openness, Prabowo's elected presidential programs must need to be accommodated.
"In terms of leadership, Mrs. Sri Mulyani, in my opinion, showed extraordinary openness. In fact, when I entered the Ministry of Finance, I felt that I had entered, already knew, and I knew not only about Mrs. but against Mr. Wamen Sua and all the director Generals of echelon 1, echelon 2 ranks, it was because of his leadership," said Thomas in media gathering, Serang, Banteng, Wednesday, September 25.
To note, Thomas was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance II on July 18, 2024. The appointment is in order to facilitate the transition from the Joko Widodo government to the Prabowo Subianto government.
However, Thomas conveyed that Sri Mulyani as a leader at the Ministry of Finance always asked her staff to always work solidly and see this transition process as an effort by state administration so that it must be transparent and good.

According to Thomas, telling the figure of Sri Mulyani takes a very long time. But in essence, Sri Mulyani is an extraordinary leader from all sides.
"In my opinion, he is an extraordinary leader not only in terms of technocraticism, but also managerial, and from leadership or strategic understanding," he said.
"That one day it is very important that the Ministry of Finance must work together so that the transition to government from one to another runs smoothly. Because the knot is in the Ministry of Finance. Because the 2025 State Budget is the node at the Ministry of Finance," he added.
