Commission I Of The House Of Representatives Approves The Panja Report On 5 Bills For Ratification Of Defense Cooperation In Front Of Prabowo
JAKARTA - Commission I of the DPR approved the report of the working committee (Panja) regarding the five Draft Laws (RUU) on the Ratification of Defense Cooperation during a working meeting with the Minister of Defense (Menhan).
The five bills were read by Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR Teuku Riefky Harsa.
"Allow us to submit a panja report on the results of the discussion of 5 defense cooperation ratification bills, namely, first, the bill on ratification of approval between the government of the Republic of Indonesia and the government of the Republic of India regarding cooperation in the defense sector," said Teuku Riefky during a working meeting with the Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Wednesday, September 25.
Second, the bill on ratification of approval between the government of the Republic of Indonesia and the French government regarding cooperation in the defense sector.
Third, the Bill on the ratification of mutual understanding memorandums between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Defense for the unity of the Arab Emirates regarding cooperation in the defense sector.
Fourth, the Bill on ratification of approval between the government of the Republic of Indonesia and the government of the Cambodian kingdom on cooperation in the defense sector.
"Fifth, regarding the ratification of supplies between the government of the Republic of Indonesia and the government of the Brazilian federative Republic on defense-related cooperation," said Riefky.

Hearing Riefky's submission, the Chairman of Commission I of the DPR, Meutya Hafid, then asked for the approval of the meeting participants regarding the 5 Defense Cooperation Ratification Bill.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we ask for approval whether the recently submitted Panja report regarding defense cooperation with five countries can be approved," asked Meutya.
"Agreed, yes," continued Meutya while tapping the hammer agreed.
"With the approval of the committee report at today's working meeting, the committee's duties for discussing the material of the five laws have been completed," he added.
