Ahead Of The 2024 Mandalika MotoGP, Shell Advance Presents The Latest Lubricant Inspired By Racing Motorcycles
JAKARTA - One of the well-known motorcycle lubricant brands, Shell Advance announced a technical partnership with the Ducati Corse MotoGP racing team ahead of its participation at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok.
Ahead of this prestigious race, the brand also launched Shell Advance AX7 Scooter Oil 10-30 with a package of 0.65 liters for the first time in Indonesia.
The oil is specially designed for scooter motorcycles consisting of synthetic lubricants that provide a smoother and more agile driving experience in urban areas.
Vice President Marketing Lubricants Shell Indonesia Arie Satyanggoro, said the oil had passed a rigorous testing phase and was inspired by the actual performance of racing motorcycles.
"Our expertise in the race track also inspired us to present Shell Advance AX7 Scooter Oil 10W-30 in a 0.65 liter packaging designed to help protect and keep motorcycle engines clean and reduce engine noise, across various types of road conditions," Arie said in his explanation to the media in Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 25.

He hopes that this product can provide benefits for two-wheeled vehicle drivers so that the motor can run optimally.
"We hope that two-wheeled motorcyclists will benefit from the rigorous testing process on the race track and improve the performance of motorcycles," added Arie.
This new lubricant also has oxidation stability of up to 46 percent better for its life and oil performance one and a half times longer than others.
Shell Advance has supported Ducati Corse in winning more than 150 podiums of MotoGP and World Superbike championships, including nine MotoGP world titles where two of them were won in succession in 2022 and 2023.
