MAKASSAR - The daughter had the heart to slash her biological mother and covered in blood in Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Tuesday, September 24. The reason was for refusing the mother's request to clean the house.

The tragic incident occurred on Jalan Tinumbu alley 148, Bontoala District. From the amateur video of the residents, it was seen that neighbors immediately scattered to see the tragic incident of a woman named Sarniaty (39) who had the heart to persecute her biological mother, Siti Syamsiah, who was aged (64) using a sharp machete weapon and suffered severe injuries to several parts of her body.

The perpetrator's heinous act was carried out in his yard. The locked fence made it difficult for residents to stop the perpetrator's actions when molesting his mother. Moreover, the perpetrator was holding a sharp weapon at that time.

Berselang kemudian, warga berhasil masuk ke area rumah dan mengevakuasi korban. Polisi yang menerima informasi warga langsung ke lokasi dan berusaha merenya pelaku yang masih memegang senjata tajam lalu mengamankannya ke Polrestabes Makassar.

From the investigation, it is known that the perpetrator had suffered from a mental disorder for a long time. Before the tragic incident occurred, the perpetrator was allegedly offended when asked by his mother to clean the house.

"The incident occurred at 17.20 WIB. He did not accept his mother's reprimand for cleaning the house, so he committed persecution. According to information from residents, the child had a mental disorder for a long time. Often went on a rampage when reprimanded, parents often gave in," said Bontoala Police Chief Kompol Muhammad Idris.

Meanwhile, the victim is currently being treated at the Jala Ammari Navy Hospital for medical treatment.

"There are quite a lot of injuries, the wrist, cheeks, head, feet, body, and many other minor injuries. The condition is conscious," he said.

Regarding the incident of his mother's abuse child, the police appealed to the public not to be provoked.

"We have handed over the perpetrator to the Makassar Police for further handling. We have secured evidence in the form of a machete," he said.
