Polda Metro Arrests 2 Malaysian Drug Networks, Confiscates 35 Kilograms Of Shabu And Thousands Of Swimmer Drugs

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya arrested two suspects in the circulation of narcotics, which is part of a transnational network from Malaysia. From that arrest, 35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and thousands of pills were confiscated.

"Two Malaysian international network players were arrested by the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police," said Director of Drug Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, when confirmed, Tuesday, September 24.

The two suspects were arrested with the initials MLS (26) and H (43). They were arrested at different locations.

The MLS suspect was arrested in the Tangerang area, Sunday, September 22. Meanwhile, H was arrested at the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road rest area on Tuesday, September 24.

From the arrest of the two, two types of narcotics were confiscated, namely methamphetamine weighing tens of kilograms and thousands of pills. They got the prohibited items from Malaysia.

"(Confiscating) evidence of methamphetamine weighing 35 kilograms and 6,480 pills of sedatives," he said.

Currently, Donald continued, his party is still investigating the case to investigate the mastermind behind it. Including, regarding the crime of money laundering (TPPU) in accordance with the direction of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Wahyu Widada.
