15-Year-Old Boy Becomes Suspect In Hard Water Water Water Watering Case Of Polda Metro Jaya
West Jakarta Metro Police named three suspects in the case of sprinkling hard water against two members of the Metro Jaya Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team on Tuesday, September 24.
The three suspects had the initials AAYA (15), ISE (24), and RB (22). They were desperate to water hard water when the two Polri members were disbanding a brawl on Jalan Joglo, Kembangan, West Jakarta.
West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes M. Syahduddi said suspect AA was still a minor.
Suspect AA played the main actor in pouring hard water that mixed sulfate and HCL acid at the victim. The siraman hit the victim's face, hands, feet, and service uniform.
Meanwhile, the suspect ISE played a role in bringing HCL liquid to be mixed with sulfic acid brought by AA. Meanwhile, the suspect RB prepared the HCL hard water used in the attack.
The three suspects were arrested after going through a series of investigations and interrogation processes by a joint team from the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim. All three have different roles in this incident.
They carried out the attack on Bripda Muhammad Zulfan and Bripda Gerald D'Hargado who were patrolling with 15 other members of the Metro Jaya Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team.
The incident began when the patrol team met a group of teenagers who would be involved in a brawl. When the police tried to disperse the group, they had fled into the alley.
However, not long after, several people from the group ran back towards the officers and poured hard water using a dipper.
The perpetrators brought the hard water using medium-sized jerry cans that had been prepared beforehand.
"We made spontaneous arrests after the watering occurred," said Police Chief Kombes M. Syahduddi to reporters, Tuesday, September 24.
After the watering action, two police officers who were exposed to hard water immediately sought protection to overcome their injuries.
At first, the police managed to secure two people from the group. After further investigation, interrogation, and investigation, the joint team of the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim managed to secure eight other people.
Of the total 10 people who were arrested, three of them were named as suspects.
For their actions, the three suspects were subject to multiple articles, namely Article 214 of the Criminal Code, Article 170 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code, and Article 351 and Article 358 of the Criminal Code, with a threat of up to seven years in prison.
Previously, it was reported that two members of the Polda Metro Jaya Pioneer Patrol Team were injured due to strong water splashes when disbanding a brawl between groups of teenagers on Jalan Joglo Raya, Kembangan District, West Jakarta.
Kembangan Police Chief Kompol Moch Taufik Iksan confirmed the incident. According to him, the two victims were named Bripda Muhammad Zulfan Satria Wicaksana and Bripda Gerald D'Hargado.
"Bripda Muhammad Zulfan suffered injuries to his face, feet and hands. Meanwhile, Bripda Gerald suffered injuries to his face and hands due to splashes that were allegedly from the hard water when dispersing the brawl," he said when confirmed, Monday, September 23. The two members have received intensive care at the Kembangan Hospital.
