Exports Of Indonesian Fisheries Products To Russia Are Still Low, It Turns Out That These Are Conditions That Must Be Fulfilled

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) revealed that the export of Indonesian fishery products to Russia is still inferior to other countries. In fact, Russia is considered to be the share of exports of large fishery products.

It is recorded that Indonesia occupies the fifth position with a contribution of 3.3 percent or Rp. 11.54 million US dollars.

Related to this, the Head of the Supervision and Control Agency for Marine and Fishery Product Quality (BPPMHKP) KKP Ishartini explained, there are several requirements that must be met by Indonesia to export its fishery products to Russia. One of them must have a registration number registered with Rosselkhoznadzor.

"So, like the quality agency there, he said is Rosselkhoznadzor, the Russian supervisory agency responsible for importing fishery products. We have to register and get an approval number from Rosselkhoznadzor," Ishartini said at a press conference at the KKP office, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 24.

Ishartini added that the important requirements that must be met by the next fish processing unit are meeting quality standards and certifications such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

HACCP is a systematic food safety management method and is based on well-known principles. The goal is to identify hazards that may occur at any stage in the food supply chain as well as controlled measures placed to prevent the emergence of danger.

Meanwhile, GMP is to ensure that production runs well and correctly to produce products that meet safe and healthy quality and food safety requirements. Next, business actors must also have health certificates.

"Of course, at the time of departure, you must also have a health certificate that ensures that fishery products are free from contaminants, diseases and meet national food safety standards," he said.

Finally, said Ishartini, products must also comply with Russia's national standards for food products. Including quality, packaging and labeling.

"Of course, later on, business actors who are interested in proposing registration to the Russian side can be facilitated by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, we can assist. Because we have to fill out various forms, quasilinears that must be filled in. This can be communicated through the Quality Control Control Agency. good luck," he said.
