Global Jetour Expansion: Dashing And X70Plus Launch In South Africa
JAKARTA A car brand from China, Jetour officially paved South Africa by introducing its two mainstay right steering models (RHD), namely Dashing and X70Plus.
This lively launch event in Johannesburg marks the company's strategic steps in accelerating global expansion, having previously confirmed its presence in Indonesia at the GIIAS 2024 event last July.
The two models launched are a manifestation of the Jetour family vehicle series. X70Plus has gained high popularity in global markets such as Saudi Arabia, Angola, Uruguay, and Peru, and has consistently become one of the best-selling products in its segment. On the other hand, Dashing attracts the attention of young users with stylish designs and tough performance.
"We want to bring top Jetour models to South Africa," said Jetour Auto President, Li Xueyong, in an official statement from the manufacturer, Tuesday, September 24.

Li added that Jetour, with a user-focused approach, has prepared itself thoroughly to compete in this mature and competitive market. From in-depth customer research to product development and service network planning, everything is designed to meet consumer needs.
The launch of Dashing and X70Plus is just the beginning. We plan to introduce more models, including highway and hybrid variants, led by our flagship model, T2,' he added.
In addition to introducing new products, Jetour also announced a strategic partnership with the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) to support wildlife conservation. In collaboration with the Discovery Channel, the company will produce a documentary about efforts to preserve itself and run the global campaign "Lindung Cheetah".
This campaign aims to increase public awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and encourage active participation in the preservation ofiri. Jetour will also provide direct support to CCF through the adoption ofiri and donating operational vehicles to strengthen wildlife protection efforts.
