JAKARTA Chery continues to make achievements on the global stage. After successfully breaking the Fortune Global 500 list by ranking 385th last August, now Chery is again showing its dominance by maintaining its top position in the medium economic SUV segment and satisfaction with the quality of the new car for the domestic high-end brand, according to the JD Power report.
J.D. Power, a trusted global market and consumer research institute, has just released China's 2024 Initial Quality Study (IQS) results. This achievement is a clear proof of Chery's commitment to providing the best innovation and quality, as well as strengthening his reputation as one of the world's leading automotive manufacturers.
"We are very proud that Chery managed to achieve achievements at China's JD Power IQS for two consecutive years. This is the result of the hard work and dedication of all Chery teams in creating high-quality products that meet consumer expectations," said PT Chery Sales Indonesia Head of Brand Department, Rifkie Setiawan, in his official statement on Tuesday, September 24.

Rifkie, who is familiarly called, added that this success further spurs Chery to continue to innovate and provide the best, both in the global market and in Indonesia. According to him, consumers' response to Chery products is very positive.
"Chery also continues to expand its expansion to various global regions, including Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa," added Rifkie.
This brilliant achievement further strengthens the position of Omoda & Jaecoo as a rapidly growing global automotive brand. With a cumulative sales contribution of 20.8 percent of the total exports of the Chery Group, both models have become the main driving force in Chery's globalization strategy.
To date, Omoda and Jaecoo have been launched in 27 countries and territories around the world. By 2024, both recorded outstanding sales growth, with monthly sales exceeding 20,000 units for four consecutive months, and total global sales have reached more than 300,000 units.
