JCI Tuesday Closed Down, Share Prices Of Companies Owned By Conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu Rise

Quoting RTI data, the share price of the company owned by conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) closed up 2.12 percent or 150 points to IDR 7,225 until the close of trading on Tuesday, September 24. The share price of the company owned by the richest person in Indonesia was in the red zone at the start of the trading session.

As for the opening, BREN's share price fell 1,075 points to IDR 6,000 per share compared to the previous closing at IDR 7,075. Meanwhile, BREN's share price was traded at a price range of IDR 5,675 to IDR 7,925 per share in today's trading.

Furthermore, the total trade frequency of BREN reached 168,385 times with a trading volume of 467.03 million shares. The value of trading transactions is Rp3.13 trillion. Along with the increase, BREN's stock market capitalization was recorded at Rp966.61 compared to the previous day of Rp965.95 trillion.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) slightly increased by 0.04 percent or 2.76 points to 7,778.49 until the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), on Tuesday, September 24.

In addition, seven sectoral indexes rose, including the primary consumption goods sector, up 0.99 percent. The infrastructure sector rose 0.54 percent, the raw goods sector rose 0.52 percent, the energy sector rose 0.43 percent, the transportation and logistics sector rose 0.42 percent, the financial sector rose 0.15 percent, the property and real estate sector rose 0.04 percent.

While four sectors fell, namely the technology sector weakened 1.14 percent, the non-primer consumption goods sector fell 0.95 percent, the health sector weakened 0.23 percent and the industrial sector fell 0.13 percent.

Furthermore, the total volume of exchange transactions reached 22.01 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 16.58 trillion. As well as 332 stocks weakened, 249 stocks rose and 215 flat shares.
