Iriana Jokowi Says Goodbye Ahead Of Jokowi's Retirement: I Apologize If There Has Been A Mistake All This Time
JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo said goodbye towards the end of Jokowi's duties as president on October 20.
"I apologize if there have been wrong words so far. I am retired on October 20," said Iriana while attending the "Recovery of Anti-Drug Prevention for Students throughout the DKI Jakarta Province" event at the Jakarta International Veledrome, East Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 24.
Iriana also thanked the 5000 junior high-vocational students throughout the DKI Jakarta Province who attended the event.
He also hopes that such a positive event can be continued in the next period.
"I thank you very much and this event can be continued in the coming period. Sorry to be born and inner for everything. Success Jakarta for Indonesia," said Iriana.
During the event, Iriana seemed to give quizzes to the students present.

Iriana asked questions about drugs with the aim that students can participate in events with enthusiasm and raise knowledge related to drugs.
The students also seemed enthusiastic about participating in the quiz held by Iriana.
Moreover, the prize provided is quite interesting, namely bicycles and Android tablets. They are scrambling to move forward to answer questions from Iriana.
Joko Widodo was first inaugurated on October 20, 2014 and served until 2019. Then Jokowi was re-elected as President of the Republic of Indonesia and continued his leadership in the second period from 2019 to 2024.
His term of office will end on Sunday, October 20 and will be replaced by the new elected president, Prabowo Subianto.
