Former East Java Police Chief Nico Afinta Inaugurated As Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights
JAKARTA - Minister of Law and Human Rights Supratman Andi Agtas inaugurated the former Head of the East Java Regional Police Inspector General Nico Afinta as Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights at Graha Pengayoman, Jakarta.
"I hereby officially appoint the position as stated in the decree that has been read out," Supratman said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 24.
Before occupying the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Nico Afinta had served as the East Java (East Java) Police Chief who was transferred by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to become the Expert Staff for Social Culture (Sahli Sosbud) of the National Police Chief.
At that time, Nico was transferred in the midst of a tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang Regency which killed 131 people.
In addition to being the Expert Staff for the Socio-Cultural Sector of the National Police Chief, Nico was also transferred to become the Head of the Police Science College (STIK) of the National Police Education and Training Center, before being appointed as Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights replacing Komjen Andap Budhi Revianto.
Meanwhile Andap Budhi Revianto remains at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, but as an Expert Staff for Social Affairs. He also underwent the inauguration with Nico Afinta at Graha Pengayoman.
In addition to the two officials, Supratman also inaugurated the Legal Counsel for the Main Expert of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Sofyan.
"Every individual has a very meaningful role and contribution, so that our togetherness and synergy will facilitate the achievement of the vision and mission of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," said Supratman.
