From East Java, President Jokowi Continues Working Visit To West Kalimantan

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo continued his working visit to West Kalimantan, after visiting West Nusa Tenggara and East Java.

The Head of State took off from Juanda International Airport in Surabaya in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, at around 18.30 WIB, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

The Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1 carrying President Joko Widodo and his entourage arrived at Supadio Airport, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province, on Monday, September 23, 2024, at around 20.10 WIB.

President Jokowi then headed to the hotel where he spent the night in Pontianak City, to continue his work visit the next day.

On Tuesday (24/9) morning the President is scheduled to inaugurate the injection of the first bauxite Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR) PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province.

Earlier during Monday, the President inaugurated the inauguration and purification of the precious metal PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk, in West Sumbawa, NTB, then Jokowi inaugurated the PT Freeport Indonesia smelter in Gresik, East Java Province.
