Before The Discovery Of 7 Bodies In The Bekasi River, The Police Smelled An Unbalanced Gelagat, Alcohol And Sharp Weapons

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi City Metro Police, Kompol Audy Joize Oroh, gave information regarding the discovery of 7 teenage boys' bodies in Bekasi River, on Sunday morning, September 22. It was explained that before 7 bodies were found in Bekasi River, the police found out that there were indications that dozens of teenagers had fought.

Dozens of teenagers are known to have gathered around Jalan Cipendawa, in Bedeng or hut in front of a cement company in Jatiasih, Saturday, September 21. Kompol Audy said, the police also found out that there were alcoholic drinks where the teenagers gathered.

"It was stated that in that place, they carried out alcoholic drinking activities and indicated that there were sharp weapons at the location," said Commissioner Audy Joize Oroh in his statement, Monday, September 23.

Not only that, Audy said that at that place dozens of two-wheeled vehicles and dozens of people also gathered at the place.

"There were about 30 two-wheeled vehicles in that place, according to information from the testimony of witnesses, possibly around 60 of them gathered at that place," he said.

Then at around 03.30 WIB in the morning, the Precision Pioneer Team (TPP) came to the place. When they saw the arrival of the police, the teenagers who gathered at the place fled. They rushed towards the residents' housing and there were also some who headed towards the Bekasi River.

"So from the testimony of witnesses, we obtained information that there were several witnesses who jumped into the Bekasi River and some did not dare to jump," he said.
