Indra Sjafri Asks Indonesia U-20 To Focus On Under-20 2025 Asian Cup Qualification
JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team coach, Indra Sjafri, has made thorough preparations for the squad who will compete in the U-2025 Asian Cup Qualification.
Of all that has been lived, one important message from the coach to his team so that they focus on each match.
The U-20 2025 Asian Cup qualification will take place from September 25-29, 2024. In that agenda, the U-20 Indonesian national team is included in Group F with the Maldives, Yemen, and Timor Leste. All matches will be held at the Madya Stadium, Senayan.
Regarding the potential opponents that will be faced on the agenda this time, Indra Sjafri emphasized that all teams in Group F should be wary of.

In addition, the coach also emphasized that when facing opponents, his team must always be able to apply high focus.
"Everything (against who will be faced) is important. We always talk to players that we have to focus, seriously whoever the opponent is while competing," said Indra Sjafri while leading the training in Jakarta, quoted on Monday, September 23, 2024.
"Whoever the opponent is in this group, we consider the opponent who wants to play well. We respond well," he said.
Apart from the message for the team and the preparations that have been undertaken, Indra Sjafri has also appointed 23 names of players who will fill the U-20 Indonesian national team squad.
After undergoing the last training session on Sunday, September 22, 2024, WIB night, in Jakarta, Indra Sjafri said that on Monday, September 23, 2024, the team will begin to make preparations for the inaugural match against the Maldives.
"It's tactical and tomorrow (today) we have started preparations against the Maldives," said the coach.
Meanwhile, the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup will be held in China on 6-23 February 2025. To qualify for the event, the U-20 Indonesian national team must win Group F or enter the five best runners-up.
