With this high rivalry, Ciro actually feels that there will be a situation that will burn his enthusiasm to perform optimally. He also hopes that his teammates in the team will be motivated to be able to show their best performance to reap three points.

"This is a big game, I like this game. I hope the team plays well, can display the best mentally good game to win the game," said Ciro Alves in a press conference quoted from Persib's official website, Monday, September 3, 2024.

Until the fifth week, Persib Bandung became a team that had never lost. Maung Bandung won twice and the rest drew.

From that acquisition, Ciro and his friends are now in fifth place with nine points. Maung Bandung is currently just above Persija who is in sixth place with eight points.

Against Persija, it is certain that Ciro will not play with David da Silva. The second name is still not fully fit after suffering a stomach muscle injury.

Without David on the front lines, Ciro did not bother and continued to aim for the best performance with other players so that he could score goals against Persija.

"He (David da Silva) also scored a lot of goals. However, we in the team are trying to find a solution. This is football. There are players who can play some who can't," he said.

So far, Ciro has only scored one goal. However, on the other hand, players often move on the wing side that already produces four assists.

Persib, who is one of the most productive clubs in Liga 1, currently has many players who have scored goals.

Apart from David who has scored two goals, there are Tyronne Del Pino (3 goals), Ciro (1 goal), Beckham Putra (1 goal), Dimas Drajad (1 goal), and Gustavo Franca (1 goal).
