Today, Police Hospital Autopsies 7 Youth Bodies Who Died In Bekasi River

JAKARTA - The Forensic Medical Team at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital will carry out an autopsy process on the 7 bodies of men who died in Kali Bekasi, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City, West Java, Monday, September 23.

"Today an autopsy will be carried out. For identification, there are still some (bodies) that have not been identified," said Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirkrimum) Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra when confirmed.

Although the case of 7 teenagers who died was handled by the Bekasi City Metro Police, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police also conducted an investigation to reveal the deaths of the 7 teenagers.

"(The case) is still being handled by Bekasi. We will investigate further (the motive for the incident)," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the Precise Pioneer Patrol Team of the Bekasi City Metro Police who patrolled at night when 7 teenagers threw themselves into the Bekasi River, it was still being handled by the Propam Polda Metro Jaya.

Previously, it was reported that two families of 7 bodies were found floating in the Bekasi River, Pondok Gede Permai housing complex, RT 04/08, Jatirasa Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City, West Java have visited the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Sunday, September 22.

Sobs broke out when the two victims' families found out that two of the seven victims were members of their family who died.

The two families immediately met with police officers and a forensic team to ensure that one of the victims was a member of his family.
