SEMARANG - In a silent operation on Friday night, the Semarang Polrestabes managed to raid a high-end gambling place operating under the guise of an entertainment venue in the Babyface building located in the Ruko Anjasmoro area.
The raid, which was led by the Semarang Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar, involved a joint team that had been monitoring the location for several days.
Kasino, hidden in entertainment venues, turns out to be equipped with casino tables, gambling chips, cards, and even special spaces for players.
Several people were found involved in gambling activities when police entered the location.
"We have received information about this illegal operation for several days and carried out a thorough investigation," said Police Commissioner Irwan Anwar at the scene.

Police detained several people for questioning and confiscated various pieces of evidence related to gambling, including tables, coins, cards, and cash in large amounts.
"We are still in the process of investigating this case and will provide the latest developments if it exists," concluded Kombes Pol Irwan Anwar.
