Enea Bastianini Controls The MotoGP Emilia Romagna, Marc Marquez Podium Tiga

JAKARTA The Ducati factory rider, Enea Bastianini, controlled the Emilia Romagna MotoGP racing series. The race was held at the Marco Simoncelli Circuit, Misano on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Bastianini's victory also marked Ducati's success in winning the MotoGP race for the 100th time.

Bastianini's efforts to win the race at Misano were not easy. He got great competition from Pramac Ducati team rider Jorge Martin who stuck to the final lap.

Martin finally occupied the runner-up position, while the third podium was occupied by Marc Marquez from Gresini Racing, which was also reinforced by a Ducati engine.

Defending MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia failed to score in this race. He fell due to a slip in the front tire. Unfortunately, the accident occurred when there were only seven laps left and Bagnaia was competing with Bastianini and Martin.

The Emilia Romagna MotoGP series is a consecutive race at the Misano Circuit, after hosting the San Marino MotoGP last week. The Emilia Romagna series was held to replace the canceled race in India and Kazakhstan.

After the Emilio Romagna series, the MotoGP race will stop at Mandalika, Lombok on September 29 as the Indonesian MotoGP series.
