KPU Set Pramono-Rano, RK-Susowono, And Dharma-Kun As Paslon In The 2024 Jakarta Pilkada
The General Election Commission (KPU) has determined the participants of three pairs of candidates for the governor candidate (Cagub) and deputy governor (Cawagub) in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
The three pairs of candidates are Pramono Anung Wibowo-Rano Karno, Ridwan Kamil (RK)-Suswono, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardhana.
Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata said that his party had completed a plenary meeting to determine the participants in the 2024 Jakarta governor and deputy governor election candidates.
He said the meeting took place internally and for the announcement it was held openly.
"To convey the decision and in the name of transparency, we will share it openly. We will read out the decision of the DKI Jakarta KPU number 125 of 2024 concerning the explanation of the candidate pair in the Jakarta Gubermur Election," Wahyu said at the DKI Jakarta KPU Office, Jalan Salemba Raya, Central Jakarta, Sunday, 22 September.
"The DKI Jakarta KPU considers and so on, considering and so on, decide, determine a pair of candidates for governor and candidate for deputy governor who meet the requirements. This decision will begin to be made in Jakarta, September 22, 2024," Wahyu continued.

The candidate pair Pramono Anung and Rano Karno were promoted by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) and the People's Conscience (Hanura).
Then, Ridwan Kamil and Suswonodiusung by PKS, Gerindra, NasDem, Golkar, PKB, PAN, PSI, Democratic Party, Indonesian Unity Party (Prima), PPP, Gelora, PBB to PKN.
Furthermore, the pair of candidates for governor from the individual line of Komjen (Ret.) Dharma Pongrekun and deputy governorcDoktor Kun Wardhana with 677,065 support spread across 6 districts/cities.
