Pramono-Rano Meets SBY In Cikeas, This Is Entrusted
JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor-Deputy Governor Pramono Anung-Rano Karno's candidate to meet the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at SBY's residence, Cikeas, West Java. The three of them wore batik when holding the meeting.
Pramono said the meeting this morning with SBY lasted for almost an hour. SBY welcomed the candidate pairs promoted by PDIP and Hanura warmly.
"Indeed, so far I have been sent by Mrs. Mega when communicating with Mr. SBY. So both of us, including Bang Doel, have absolutely no barriers in the discussion," Pramono said when met in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Saturday, September 21.
The former Cabinet Secretary admitted that he received a message from SBY. The two-term president asked Pramono and Rano to pay attention to the small community in building the vision and mission and the idea of becoming candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta.
"With his long experience, he also left several things, especially focusing on the poor, who need a touch of their leaders," said Pramono.
However, Pramono realized that it was impossible for SBY, who is also the chairman of the Democratic Party's High Council, to support him. Considering that Democrats are parties that are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).
"I met Mr. SBY not talking about support, but staying in touch," said Pramono.

Since registering as a candidate for the 2024 Pilkada, Pramono-Rano has been around to meet the previous Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia for sowan and stay in touch, in addition to meeting with former Governors of DKI Jakarta.
Before SBY, Pramono-Rano had met the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla. Pramono admitted that his visit to the Presidents would continue, including Joko Widodo and the elected President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.
"Certainly, everything. Anyway, the point is that we, both of us, don't have any burden to communicate with anyone," said Pramono.
