No Limits, Airlangga Values Sri Mulyani Eligible To Be Minister Again

Present at the launch of Sri Mulyani's authorized biography entitled "No Limits: Heart Reform", Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto joked that Sri Mulyani would become a minister again in the next government.

When asked by senior journalist Rosianna Silalahi, she called the phrase "No Limits" a hard code for Sri Mulyani, who will remain a minister in the next period of government.

"First of all, I see this book as a hard code, because there is no limit. Even sky is not a limit. This means that if we talk about phase one (minister) with Pak SBY (Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono). Phase two (minister) with Pak Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Is this phase three preparation?" Airlangga joked Sri Mulyani and guests who were present at the launch of the book in Jakarta, Friday, September 21.

On that occasion, Airlangga assessed that Sri Mulyani had served as minister of finance well, especially when facing the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

The authorized book Sri Mulyani's biography "No Limits: Heart Reform" was written by Metta Dharmasaputra along with other contributors.

The biography is a track record for Sri Mulyani's long journey as a public official, especially during her tenure at the Ministry of Finance. "Ide to make this book is that there have been many incidents that have occurred in the last 20 years, since 2004 the new government and because I participated in several cabinets, it happens that there have been a lot of incidents that have occurred," said Finance Minister Sri Mulyani as quoted by ANTARA.

According to him, the book has managed to capture many episodes of its career journey. The book not only focuses on policy, but also provides a deeper view on the humanist side of its work as a public official.

"I hope that this book can be a part of recording the experience into a book, as well as a reference for many friends at the Ministry of Finance as well as for readers in the future," he said.

Apart from Airlangga, several other officials who attended the launch event were observed, such as the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Destry Damayanti to several Echelon I Officials of the Ministry of Finance.
