Testimony Of The Three Toddlers Become Fire Victims In Pulogadung: Locked In Room
JAKARTA - Three toddlers were killed in a fire incident that occurred in the Cipinang area, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. Based on a temporary investigation, they could not save themselves because they were locked in the room.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the condition of the locked victims was based on the testimony of the witness who was his parents.
"Based on the information obtained, when the mothers of the victims picked up their children in Cipinang, the victim's room was locked," Ade told reporters, Friday, September 20.
The mother deliberately locked the room for the safety of her children. Because, at that time he would go to pick up his other son at his school.
The condition at that time did not allow the woman to bring the three victims with her.
Moreover, their rooms are on the second floor. Therefore, it was decided to lock it so it doesn't fall.
"So that these children don't come out for fear of falling from the 2nd floor because the house is empty," he said
As for the cause of the fire, Ade could not confirm yet. However, steps to find out the real facts will be taken.
Later, the National Police's Puslabfor team will be deployed to look for evidence or clues to reveal the cause or origin of the fire.

The fire burned down 11 houses in the Cipinang Baru area, RT 05/18, Cipinang Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.
In that incident three children aged 4, 3, and 1.5 years became victims. They were trapped when the fire broke out.
