Toyota Highlander Celebrates 25 Years With A Special Edition Of 2,500 Units

JAKARTA The Toyota Highlander bongsor SUV is ready to enter its 25th year since its debut at the New York Auto Show 2000. To mark this important milestone, Toyota released a special edition of the Highlander 25th Edition specifically for the United States (US) market.

Launching from the official Toyota USA website, Thursday, September 19, this celebratory edition is based on the Hybrid Limited AWD Highlander variant, which is famous for its efficiency and power. The 25th Edition Highlander looks prominent with a dashing design thanks to exterior elements such as side rockers, 20-inch rims, as well as front and rear bumpers decorated with sparkling silver accents.

The SUV comes in two exclusive color options, namely Heavy Metal and Wind Chill Pearl, strengthening the premium and modern aura that is being carried.

The 25th Edition Highlander offers luxury with seven Portobello color-coated chairs. On the driver's head and front passenger, there is a 25th Edition logo that confirms its exclusivity. Premium touch is also visible on the lit door frame, exclusive carpet, special key sarong, and badge on the rear trunk door with the 25th Edition logo.

This special edition is equipped with a variety of advanced features, such as a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a Premium JBL audio system with 11 speakers, a 12.3-inch touch screen equipped with Multimedia Toyota Audio, and three-zone automatic climate control. In addition, the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ safety system is also standard, providing extra protection while driving.

The 25th Edition Highlander is powered by a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine combined with three electric motors and a nickel metal hydroride battery. The combined power reaches 243 dk, with fuel efficiency reaching 14.8 km/liter, making it an ideal choice for those who want performance as well as efficiency.

The 25th Edition Highlander will be available on a limited basis of only 2,500 units in the US, with a price yet to be announced. In comparison, the standard Toyota Highlander 2025 variant is sold starting from 39,520 US dollars (around Rp605.6 million).
