After Eating Nasi Uduk, The Man In Tanjung Priok Was Shot From Behind In The Head

JAKARTA - A man with the initials AJ (23) is suspected of being the victim of a shooting by an unknown person (OTK) on Kebun Bawang Street, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi said the incident occurred on Wednesday, September 18, at 03.00 WIB.

The incident began when the victim was busy drinking at a cafe. When he was about to return home, the victim stopped by the uduk rice shop at the scene.

"Then there was an argument between the victim and another buyer of nasi uduk, 1 woman and 2 men. The visitor used Palopo," said Ade Ary in his statement, Thursday, September 19.

After finishing eating rice, continued Ade Ary, the victim stood from his seat. Suddenly a man came from the direction of the thing with the characteristics of black skin and curly hair using a motorcycle.

"Then the man shot the victim at around 03.30 WIB from behind and hit the victim's back of the head," he said.

After the incident, the perpetrator fled from the scene. Residents who saw the incident immediately took the victim to Koja Hospital, North Jakarta, for medical treatment.

The North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Gidion Arif, added that the perpetrator used an air softgun.

Now his party is investigating the case, to find out the identity of the shooter.

"We will see investigations from witness statements, CCTV and so on. There are injuries to the head, but air soft guns, no items were taken, no motive for violent theft. Maybe it will be operated," he concluded.
