Forests Slope Mount Telomoyo Semarang Hit By Fire
The forest on the slopes of Mount Telomoyo, Semarang Regency, Central Java, was hit by a fire.
Kapolsek Getasan AKP Agus Pardiyono said the fire hit the area of about 1.5 hectares owned by Perhutani.
According to him, the fire that burned the slopes of Mount Telomoyo was first discovered on Wednesday, September 18, evening.
"There is still a blackout by joint officers," he said, quoted by ANTARA.
The forest area that caught fire in Tolokan Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency.
Meanwhile, based on data from the Central Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the burned area is about 2 km from residential areas.

The burned area is in the form of slopes and ravines that are thought to have started from the activities of residents burning grass or leaves.
In addition to making efforts to extinguish the fire, joint officers also anticipate the flames leading to residential areas on the slopes of Telomoyo.
