Indonesian U-17 TC National Team In Qatar And Spain, Nova Arianto Boyong 30 Players

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team continues to prepare to face the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification by conducting training camps (TC) in Qatar and Spain from September 15 to October 9, 2024. In this agenda, Nova Arianto brought 30 players into the team.

From the list of three players, there are three names from foreign clubs. They are Mathew Baker, Australian club player Melbourne City, Ocean Erwin Lim, Spanish club player FC Cardedeu, and Lucas Lee, the United States club player, De Anza Force.

During the training camp in Spain and Qatar, the Garuda Muda players will not only train but they will also undergo several test matches.

"Indeed, in Spain and Qatar we will conduct trials, where we will see the current development of the team. And the rest of this time, I focus more on tactics," said Nova Arianto, quoted from the Indonesian national team's Instagram account on Wednesday, September 18.

"We prepared several formations and prepared several options for how we attacked, how we made the transition, and including how we survived. Our opponents are Kuwait, Australia, and the North Mariana Islands, which may be in different formations and tactics. So we are trying to prepare what we will face in Kuwait later," said Nova, who is also the assistant coach of the Indonesian national team.

For the U-17 2025 Asian Cup Qualification agenda, Indonesia U-17 is in Group G with Australia, Kuwait, and the North Mariana Islands. All Group G matches will be held in Kuwait on 23-27 October 2024.
