Neta Ready To Crash The Indonesian Market With A Special Model, MPV Electricity?
JAKARTA The Indonesian auto market continues to attract the attention of various global car manufacturers, and in recent years, more and more brands from China have enlivened competition, one of which is Neta.
Since it first arrived in Indonesia, Neta introduced a fully imported V model from China. This model received a positive response from Indonesian consumers. Now, Neta continues her work by releasing V-II, the latest version of the V model that has been assembled in Indonesia, marking Neta's serious steps in working on the local market.
Not stopping there, Neta also introduced the Neta X electric SUV at the GIIAS 2024 event, and plans to officially launch it in Indonesia in the near future. Neta's success in the Indonesian market has made the four-element logo brand even more interested in presenting a special model designed according to consumer needs here.
"Currently we are still in the development stage and will adjust the product to the Indonesian market," said Jordy Angkawidjaja, Product Planning Manager of PT NETA Auto Indonesia, during a conversation at PIK 2, Tuesday, September 17.

When asked about the segments that will be filled by this special model, Jordy has not provided a definite answer. However, he admitted that the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment has great potential in Indonesia.
"We are currently conducting field studies and surveys. Indeed, the MPV segment is very large in Indonesia," he added.
Currently, Neta does not yet have MPV ranks and is still focused on the 5-SEATER SUV. However, Jordy emphasized that the Indonesian market has unique characteristics, and the electric MPV can be an interesting opportunity.
"Neta started from the 5-SEATER model, but talking about the MPV, it is indeed unique in itself for the Indonesian market," he explained.
MPV electricity is indeed in the spotlight, as evidenced by the success of BYD M6 which won more than a thousand orders during GIIAS 2024. Will Neta immediately follow in this footsteps by presenting an electricity MPV? Of course, this will be something to look forward to.
