Pop Mart Security Quarrel Gancit With Visitors Because The Labubu Doll Is Over
JAKARTA - The Kebayoran Lama Police Chief, Kompol Widya Agustiono, explained the commotion between the Pop Mart security outlet and visitors to Gandaria City Mall (Gancit), South Jakarta who wanted to buy a Labubu doll.
Kompol Widya Agustiono when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, confirmed the commotion. However, until now there have been no reports related to the case.
According to Widya, based on mall security information, the commotion began after the Pop Mart outlet that sold the Labubu doll, would close. At that time, queues of visitors who wanted to buy a Labubu doll were still piling up in front of the outlet. A misunderstanding between visitors and security ensued.
"The store is about to close. But the customer wants to enter, so there is just miscommunication," said Widya when confirmed, Tuesday, September 17.
Nevertheless, Widya ensured that there was no physical contact between security and visitors to the Pop Mart outlet. The commotion eventually subsided. The visitors who had not been caught by the Labubu doll finally understood when the outlet had closed.
"It's been bridged. Pamdal Gancit (gandaria City)," he said.

The account explains the problem only because of a doll. Based on information, the incident occurred when a group of youths, both men and women, wanted aLabubu doll at Pop Mart outlets. However, because the operating hours are over, the outlets will also be closed.
