Apple Releases VideoOS 2 With New Gestur And Persona Update
JAKARTA Apple officially released Vision 2, the first major update to the operating system supporting the Apple Vision Pro. After several months since its introduction to WWDC in June and past various beta tests, version 2.0 of the Vision Pro can now be downloaded by the headset owners.
This update covers various aspects, such as increasing photos and videos, new gestures, improvements to the Virtual Mac View, and changes to the Persona feature.
visionOS 2: Photos and Videos
On visionOS 2, users can now convert photos in their photo library into spatial photos, adding depth to make stereoscopic effects look more real. Photo apps are also updated, facilitating the management of image collections and finding spatial photos quickly.
While in FaceTime calls, users can share photos, videos, and panoramas with other users via the SharePlay feature. In addition, videos stored in the photo library can be edited directly through the headset using cutting controls.
For those who want to be more creative, Apple has also leaked about the ability to create and edit spatial videos in the Cut Pro Final on Mac, which can then be watched on Apple Vision Pro.
visionOS 2: Gestur
Apple Vision Pro users can now use a new gesture to open the main look (Home View) and Control Center (Control Center) without the need to look at the ceiling or press the Top button. To access Home View, users only need to see their palms and tap on the points that appear.
When viewing the palm, the user can flip the hand to see the time and battery, then tap to open the Control Center or hold back to adjust the volume.
visionOS 2: Home View and Environment
In the first version of visionOS, users cannot rearrange the icon on Home View. However, on visionOS 2, users can now adjust the appearance of the icon according to their wishes. The environment where users can interact also increases, including the panorama of the white sand beach in Bora Bora.
visionOS 2 also allows the introduction of the Magic Keyboard or MacBook keyboard, so users can see and use these peripherals more easily. Virtual Mac display now supports a panoramic screen equivalent to two side-by-side 4K screens.
visionOS 2: App Changes
Safari users can now watch videos on large screens in any environment. Siri can also read web page content, and Tab Groups will help users manage their tab collections.
Apple Music is also updated with the ability to collaborate in creating playlists, reacting with emojis, and singing together. Apple TV apps get Multiview features for MLS and MLB subscriptions, allowing users to watch up to five games at the same time.
In the Message application, users can gaze at the microphone icon and start dictating messages easily. Mindfulness apps can now follow the user's breathing rhythm, which is then synchronized with visual animation during meditation sessions.

The Quick Look feature allows users to attach objects to the surface and immediately change the material, for example placing furniture in the room and seeing it in different positions and colors.
visionOS 2 also supports third-party Magic Mouse or Bluetooth mouse for navigation. The Guest User feature allows others to try the Apple Vision Pro without having to repeat the setting process, and the AirPlay Receiver supports the mirroring of the surrounding iPhone or iPad.
